Q Retreat

The Q Retreat offers a safe, accepting space for young adults from the LGBTQ+ community to join in spiritual intention--a weekend where the burden of explanation is lessened, and campers may feel more comfortable expressing their authentic selves. Within that comfort there will be opportunities to build friendships, connect to nature, and encounter the spirit.

Check in at Camp Magruder will be 6pm on Friday.   If you are unable to arrive by 6pm, please contact the Camp Magruder office at (503) 355-2310.   Camp will conclude on Sunday at 11am after a closing program.

You will be contacted by email before camp with any additional information specific to your event as well as current pandemic requirements.

GETTING READY FOR CAMP:    Our website has the information about what to bring, directions to camp, camp policies and health forms on one page:  READY, SET, GO to CAMP!  ​

If registering online, our registration system requires a binary gender for capacity purposes; you will have the opportunity later in the registration process (in Forms) to elaborate on gender identity if you so desire.

If registering by mail, please use this form send a completed health form to the camping office at least 10 days before the camp begins.  
If you have special dietary needs, please contact the camp at least two weeks in advance. (Contact information below.)

For registration information, please contact our camp registrar at registrar@gocamping.org.  A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to hold your spot.  All balances should be paid at least two weeks before camp unless prior arrangements have been made.
